Reduce fast fashion, achieve better living for all.
We hope to tackle issues surrounding textiles waste whilst helping refugees and asylum seekers. We will leverage the support from 2-3 local and global clothing fashion chain/boutiques by getting donations of good quality (first handed) and hygienic off-season dead stock, and in particular, daily attire. Depending on that brand’s stock clearance period, we will arrange for volunteers to collect from the shops and deliver it to centres that cater to refugees and asylum seekers. Through this initiative, we hope to raise awareness of this issue and help contribute to saving our environment.
of textile waste is produced each year.
Average cost of living for one individual is $6870 per month, while refugees and asylum seekers are only given $1500 a month by the government and are also stripped of the right to work.
There are 14,000 asylum seekers in Hong Kong that are in need.
Donate any good quality clothes that you don't wear anymore! We hope to get as many pieces of clothing as possible so we can provide for more refugees. If you know of any fast fashion brands or local boutiques that would like to donate their off-season stocks, please feel free to inform us!
