Our Voice, and Yours?
We need the Voice.
We aim to raise people's awareness in mental wellbeing. Through setting up the memo walls in classrooms, we hope to encourage all of us to be honest to our feelings as well as emotions. We are all allowed to express our inner voices.
A study released by the counselling group Hok Yau Club found students rated their stress levels, on average, at 7.6 out of 10
An estimated 1 in 7 people in Hong Kong will experience a common mental disorder at any given time
Youth suicide rate (aged 10-19) more than doubled from 2014 to 2017
We have two main directions. The first one is the setting up of memo walls in classrooms. Students can feel free to write some words about their recent struggles or things they would love to share on the walls. They are welcome to share their happiness as well as worries. The second one is the regular update on Instagram. We would have some Q&A about the topic of mental health and love to see the responds from repliers.
